Questions & Answers

What is Jardin d’Acclimatation? A unique blend of amusement park and botanical garden in Paris’s Bois de Boulogne, originally opened in 1860. Today it offers around 40–42 attractions, educational nature zones, over 450 animals, and 18 hectares of gardens.

When is it open? The park is open 365  days a year. Opening hours vary by season: typically from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 7 p.m., with the attractions queue closing about half an hour before closing time.

How long should I plan to stay? Visitors typically spend 3–4 hours, though you could easily enjoy a full day with all attractions, gardens, workshops, and shows.

What types of tickets are available? Single-entry only (park access, no rides) – around €7, Le Grand 8 Pass (entrance + up to 8 attractions) – ~€37, Unlimited Day Pass (all-you-can-ride attractions for the day) – from €46–48 depending on season and booking method. Children under 80 cm, people with disabilities, and their companion generally get FREE entry.

Can I exit and re-enter the park on the same ticket? No. Once you leave the park, re‑entry is not allowed

Are children’s toys like scooters and bikes allowed? Yes (with restraints): young kids’ bikes with stabilisers, three‑wheeled scooters. Not allowed: adult bicycles, unstabilised children’s bikes, skateboards, rollerblades—for safety reasons.

Can I bring a picnic? Are pets allowed? Picnic areas are available—home-cooked meals can be brought in, but pets are not allowed, except for authenticated guide dogs.

Is the park accessible to visitors with disabilities? Yes. The park is wheelchair accessible, offers priority lanes, and accessible toilets. Those with a valid mobility card and their companion generally get free entry.

What days are most crowded? High attendance usually occurs weekends, school holidays, and public holidays from roughly March to September—especially in good weather. For a quieter visit, weekdays or mornings are best.
