This was a wonderful experience for my entire family, 8 of us from 78 years old to 16 years old. We downloaded a he Palace of Versailles app from the App Store and it was the perfect free audio guide. (The line to pick up the audio guide from inside was quite long, so we decided to use our own). Will definitely make a point to come back to visit.

The tour suited us perfectly as we were able to explore Versailles at our own pace using the audio guide headsets. Staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed assistance but, otherwise, we were free to explore what we were most interested in rather than being bustled from place to place as we would have been with a guided tour. Loved the independence this half day tour gave us.

It was a full day of awe inspiring beauty. From the Palace to the Gardens to the Pink Palace. I was able to move at my own pace peacefully. I chose to purchase the audio guide which was easy to use and offered so much information.
