Current Exhibitions:
“Olga Picasso”
Organized by the Musée national Picasso-Paris in partnership with the Fundación Almine y Bernard Ruiz-Picasso para el Arte (FABA), the “Olga Picasso” exhibition is focused on the years that Pablo Picasso spent with his first wife Olga Kokhlova, a ballerina for the Ballets Russes. The exhibition tries to put the production of some of Picasso’s major works between 1917 and 1935 in the perspective of that personal history, mirror of the political and social history of the interwar period.

“Picasso. Panorama”
Paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, posters or the performing arts: Pablo Picasso experiences and reinvents a great diversity of materials and practices throughout his life. The exhibition trail focuses on masterpieces from the collection, and each room addresses a particular theme. “Picasso.Panorma” offers a glimpse into the richness of the collection and provides keys to understanding all the techniques used by the artist.

“Picasso’s Picassos”
The second floor presents a selection of ‘Picasso’s Picassos’ – those works that the artist kept all his life, and which form the basis of the museum’s collection, the largest of the artist’s works in the world. This exceptional collection comes from two donations made in 1979 and 1990 through Acceptance in Lieu. It allows us to examine the major periods of Pablo Picasso’s work.

“Picasso and His Personal Collection”
On the third floor, masterpieces by Pablo Picasso intermingle with artworks from his personal collection, just like in his studios. The collection encompasses contemporaries of the artist, such as Henri Matisse and Joan Miró, as well as some old masters he admired.
