The audioguide is a phone app; child pricing is lower as kids may not have phones. For safety reasons, children under 6 are not allowed—please do not bring them on the day of the tour.
There is an 8-minute walk from the meeting point to the bus. If the bus is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, public transport will be used with a GetYourGuide host.
Please check in at the time stated on your voucher; late arrivals may miss Palace entry and rescheduling fees will apply.
The Palace gardens are free from November to March (closing at 17:30); no tickets are needed and prices are adjusted. Note: there are no musical or fountain shows in this period.
There are no restrooms on the bus.
Unfortunately, the bus is not fully accessible for wheelchair users.

This was a wonderful experience for my entire family, 8 of us from 78 years old to 16 years old. We downloaded a he Palace of Versailles app from the App Store and it was the perfect free audio guide. (The line to pick up the audio guide from inside was quite long, so we decided to use our own). Will definitely make a point to come back to visit.

The tour suited us perfectly as we were able to explore Versailles at our own pace using the audio guide headsets. Staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed assistance but, otherwise, we were free to explore what we were most interested in rather than being bustled from place to place as we would have been with a guided tour. Loved the independence this half day tour gave us.
